Free Content Noise Ordinance Noise Level Limits, an Update of the EPA's 1975 Findings

In 1974 the US EPA Office of Noise Abatement and Control published the results of a study of the noise level limits used in decibel based noise ordinances for residential, commercial, and industrial receiving properties. This paper updates those results based on the levels in the ordinances of the 500 largest cities in the United States. The paper will focus on what has and hasn't changed with respect to permissible levels in the past 44 years.
