Education in noise control engineering in Europe and the United States was surveyed in workshops held during 2007 in Spain and the USA respectively. The article on noise control engineering education in Europe was published in the March, 2009 issue of this magazine; the article on noise
control engineering education in the USA was published in the September, 2008 issue. This article is based on a forum held in Shanghai, China on October 27, 2009 as part of INTERNOISE 08.
