On February 19-20 2014, the National Academy of Engineers (NAE) hosted a workshop called “Reducing Employee Noise Exposure in Manufacturing: Best Practices, Innovative Techniques, and the Workplace of the Future.” On October 6-7 2015, the NAE hosted a workshop called “Engineering
