Fortieth anniversary celbration of the founding of INCE/USA
In the following report on NOISE-CON 2011, the Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the USA celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding on the Sunday before the opening of the conference. This is the address by Leo L. Beranek on the founding of INCE/USA. Following the presentation,
George Maling presented a slide show based on events from 1972-1975. The slides have been converted to PDF format, and are available on the Internet. Following the session, which took place in the hotel, founders and pioneers, and others, boarded a boat, the Portland Spirit for a dinner cruise
on the Willamette River.
