EU emission requirements on outdoor equipment
A major program of the European Union (EU) to control environmental noise is described in the preceding article by I-INCE President Tor Kihlman. The Draft Directive to implement this program is now in the hands of the European Parliament with final action not expected until later this
year. Noise/News International will report on the progress of this legislation in future issues.
