
Sweden's action plan against noise
While seemingly endless debate continues in may countries on what should be done about noise, one country has addressed the problem squarely, and has developed in record time an Action Plan against Noise. The country is Sweden! As reported in Noise News International, the Swedish Parliament
resolved in the Autumn of 1990 that an integrated Action Plan against Noise should be prepared and submitted to Parliament without delay. The development and description of this plan is presented in this article.
