This study will research the accuracy of estimating sound levels of equipment, using established calculation methods, and comparing these calculations to published and/or measured levels. Further, where deviations from published sound levels occur, this study will outline factors to consider/include in the calculation when estimating sound levels to yield a more accurate result.
