A Tale of Two RPMs: Comparing estimated equipment sound levels using operational parameters to measured and published levels.
This study will research the accuracy of estimating sound levels of equipment, using established calculation methods, and comparing these calculations to published and/or measured levels. Further, where deviations from published sound levels occur, this
study will outline factors to consider/include in the calculation when estimating sound levels to yield a more accurate result.
