Wind turbine tower dynamic behavior investigation
The vibration characteristics of wind turbine may affect the stability, performance and life-time of the system. This research used the theoretical and experimental approaches to predict and investigate the wind turbine dynamic behavior. Three finite element models which were wind turbine
with flow, wind turbine structure only, tower only model and tower and base model, were used to calculated the wind turbine's natural frequencies. The actual measurements were used to validation the model correctness. It is expected used the deformation mode under different external forces,
base conditions for further identify the critical factors for the structural health conditioning of the wind turbine tower.
