Integrated aircraft noise data processing at Narita International Airport
In the area around Narita International Airport, the relevant local governments and Narita International Airport Corporation (NAA) have set up aircraft noise monitoring stations to continuously monitor and measure aircraft noise in order to confirm compliance with the Environmental
Quality Standards of Aircraft Noise, to respond to complaints from residents, and to study noise control measures. The measurement data are aggregated and processed by Narita Airport Regional Symbiosis Promotion Foundation (NSF) from a centralized and neutral standpoint, and the results are
released to the public after deliberation and verification by a third-party organization established at NSF. This paper introduces NSF's unprecedented efforts to centrally aggregate and process measurement data from monitoring stations installed around the airport. Keywords: Aircraft Noise,
