
Current status and good examples of airport environmental measures focusing on community coexistence in Japan
JCAB explains the status of community engagement in recent years, taking as an example the development of over-the-city flight routes at Haneda Airport, Japan's largest airport. In order to let as many people living in areas where the impact of noise as possible know about the necessity
of functional enhancement of Haneda Airport and measures to realize it, JCAB not only has provided information, through an appropriate combination of open house type two-way dialogue explanations and various public relations, but also actively disseminated and widely shared dialogue content.
In addition, introduce good practices for environmental measures and redevelopment projects that make use of the privatization of a state-manage airport.
