The energy thresholds of nonlinear sound absorbers
The research of low frequency sound absorption structure has been very thorough, but there is still a problem of narrow frequency band. However, the non-linear coupled sound absorption structure based on targeted energy transfer has a wider sound absorption band because of its non-characteristic
natural frequency. However, targeted energy transfer occurs only in a certain range of external excitation, which is called the desired working zone. So we investigate the influence of the parameters of the nonlinear membrane coupling structure on the desired working zone.
