Improvement for Management System of the Floor Impact Sound Insulation Performance in Apartment House
South Korea has continued to emerge as a serious social problem, without reducing the number of disputes between neighbors due to the exposure to inter-floor noise in apartment houses. However, from 2014 to the present, improvements in inter-floor noise related policies and systems
have been insignificant, and are mainly limited to post-management such as improving community awareness among residents. On the other hand, in order to prevent noise between adjacent residents, the performance standards of the floor impact sound insulation structure are regulated and managed.
Here, the test to recognize the performance of floor impact sound insulation structure is stipulated to be carried out at the construction site of apartment house or a standard laboratory. Accordingly, the floor impact sound insulating performance is managed mostly in the standard laboratory,
not in the actual construction site. In this study, we analyzed the problems in the management of floor impact sound insulating performance centered on the current standard laboratory. In addition, propose an improvement plan that can strengthen the post evaluation system centering on the
apartment construction site.
