Objective evaluation of noise in electric vehicles during acceleration based on psychoacoustics
This research focuses on the objective evaluation of the subjective perception of sound quality (SQ) in electric vehicles (EVs) during acceleration. The interior noises of EVs under acceleration are measured and analyzed. One physical acoustic parameter (A-weighted sound pressure level)
and seven psychoacoustic parameters (loudness, roughness, sharpness, fluctuation strength, impulsiveness, tonality, and articulation index) are considered in the evaluation and analysis. It is demonstrated that using psychoacoustic parameters to evaluate noise is of great significance for
the analysis and control of noise in EVs. These research results provide a theoretical basis for guiding the SQ design and development of EVs.
