
The optimized design and verification of single/double-flow jet noise scale model test rig
Jet noise holds dominant position in aircraft engine noise when the plane takes off. The jet noise scale model test rig, which is applied to measure the jet noise field distribution, plays a key role in the research of jet noise. The jet noise scale model test rig consists of the air
supply system, the pipeline system and the test system. The pipeline system can be divided into the diffuser, the silencer, the setting chamber, the contraction section etc. The test system located in the anechoic chamber can measure the jet noise level at different position under the circumstance
of different jet speed and nozzle. The summary and optimization have been made to the design ideas of the jet noise scale model test rig, and an optimized methodology and the flow chart is put forward for de-signing the jet noise scale model test rig. Compared with the widely accepted test
data, the test data of the single/double-flow jet noise scale model test rig which is established by the optimized design methodology fits it well. The result indicates that the test data of single/double-flow jet noise scale model test rig is accurate and reliable, moreover, the optimized
methodology is effective.
