The critical nonlinear characteristics near stable boundary of the air spring suspension system
The automobile suspension system plays an important role in automobile riding comfortability, operation stability and brake performance. In this paper, we carried out theoretical analysis of nonlinear dynamic behaviours for air spring suspension by use of nonlinear dynamical methods.
The nonlinear dynamic characteristics of the nonlinear suspension system are obtained under different excitation conditions and system parameters. Furthermore, the paper gave out the critical characteristics of the non-linear suspension system near the stable boundary. The results on critical
nonlinear characteristics near stable boundary of the air spring suspension system provides theoretical basis for control of suspension.
