Subjective Evaluation for Electric Brake Booster Sounds
In order to investigate how the electric brake booster sound is evaluated, we conducted subjective evaluation experiments and confirmed the correlation between the subjective impression and the physical measures. We used the time-varying sounds that occur when stepping on the brakes
of automobiles. The magnitude of the sound had a big influence on the impression of the brake sound. However, when there was no big difference in the magnitude of the sound, it was found that factors other than loudness were affected.
