Free Content Study by Long-Term Measures about ISO 1996 Standard

Download Article:
Computerized methods for noise mapping are more widespread than measurement ones, mainly due to operational costs. However, the measurements are necessary at least for the calibration or verification of computerized strategic noise maps. ISO 1996 standard is proposed in European Noise Directive to obtain sound indicators through on-site measurements. This paper presents the results of a study by long-term measures in which some aspects of the ISO 1996 standard are analyzed.
