Auditory Experiment for Classification Scheme on Rubber Ball Impact Sound
Classification scheme for dwelling is standardizing in ISO/TC 43/SC 2. Airborne sound insulation, light-weight impact sound and building equipment noise level were classified as 6 classes; A~F. However, classification scheme for low frequency impact sound using rubber ball which was
standardized in ISO 10140 series and ISO 16283-2 was not proposed. In order to propose classification scheme for rubber ball impact sound, auditory experiments was conducted. The auditory experiment was designed with different background noise level.
