
Auralization of selected forests in Poland
Article shows a comparative analysis of long term ambisonic recordings in representative forests in Poland. Recordings were conducted together with a sound level measurements during several time periods of the year. From a massive sound library, soundscape analysis was provided in order
to compile an auralization of that environments for several research purposes. The recordings were conducted in following forests: Bialowieza Forest (example of ancient, well preserved and isolated forest), Niepolomice Forest (close to big city, highway and railway), Lower Beskids ( mountain
forest, isolated). The differences between those three types of forest were shown in aspect of natural and anthropogenic sounds are shown as well as a conclusion of analysys.
