INTRODUCTION OF THE SMALL ACOUSTIC WIND TUNNEL IN NIM
A new acoustic wind tunnel is constructed in National Institute of Metrology, China. The design and construction process are introduced, then the small acoustic wind tunnel aerodynamic performance and the acoustic properties are introduced. Through the calibration, the aerodynamic and
acoustic performances meet the requirements of the microphone calibration. When the microphone is measured in small acoustic wind tunnel, the influence of the support structure is verified, and the shape of the wing structure support is selected to reduce the wind noise.
