Evaluation of Floor Vibrations under Influence of Exposure of Large Vibration
The floor micro-vibration is important environmental factor in habitability. In Japan, recently, the vibration problems are increasing in existing buildings in the context of the longer life of buildings and the changes of neighboring environment or the replacement of the residents,
the use changes of the building. Therefore, effective measures for the existing buildings are important. Many studies are accomplished about the human sense and evaluation for the amplitude of the floor vibrations so far, but the study about the difference of the evaluations before and after
the floor vibration countermeasures in the existing buildings is not done.In this study, first, relatively large vibrations were exposed for examinees and the permission levels were shown using sensory test. After that, relatively small vibrations as after measures were exposed for examinees
and the permission levels for the small vibrations were shown.
