The inverse pellicular mode analysis (IPMA) is an effective approach that uses pellicular modes as basis functions, reducing the number of required measurements while maintaining reconstruction accuracy. The accuracy of source reconstruction using IPMA strongly depends on the strategic selection of measurement locations. In this study, IPMA is applied to reconstruct the radiating noise of an engine cover. The effects of different numbers of measurement points and varying distances of measurement locations are systematically investigated. Additionally, the influence of random errors in amplitude and phase within the measurements is considered to identify optimal measurement positions. The reconstructed sound fields are evaluated by comparing the predicted sound pressure levels at designated far-field target points.", }
