Istanbul city's most famous public space, Taksim, and its surroundings are at the top of the list for soundscape research when population density, utilization aims, cultural and historical influences, diversity of architectural and urban characteristics, and diversity of acoustic settings are all considered. Urban soundscape questionnaires were executed, which took place at three different squares along Istiklal Avenue: Taksim Square, Galatasaray Square at the avenue's center, and Tunel Square. Statistically, the sound perception of tourists and locals was found to be different. According to the findings, users' perceptions of soundscape vary depending on the purpose of their visit. The data revealed and evaluated in this study underlined the importance of demographic factors on users' perception and experience of their surroundings.", }
