Currently, the soundscape attributes and questionnaire protocols are established in English. Thus, it is not clear whether the results of the soundscape studies can be compared with other languages. In this context, this study aims to translate eight soundscape attributes into Korean. Translation of soundscape attributes from English to Korean requires fidelity in the psychoacoustic and psycholinguistic senses. This study employed a quantitative evaluation method to assess the overall accuracy and fidelity of translation for eight attributes (pleasant, annoying, vibrant, calm, chaotic, and monotonous). For the translation, 94 Korean attributes corresponding to the eight attributes were collected. Through the quantitative evaluation, eight Korean attributes were suggested and validated.", }
