abstract = "Exposure-response curves showing the prevalence of high annoyance as a function of the long-term noise exposure level DNL/DENL is the preferred way of presenting the results from surveys on noise annoyance. However, such curves give very little information about the actual extent of
the negative impact in a specific noise situation. The number of impacted people is not known and people that are annoyed to a lesser degree than "highly annoyed" are not counted. A method to quantify the magnitude of noise annoyance in an airport community has been developed.",
