There is a need for measurement and prediction methods as well as criteria for these sources. Most work to date has focused on the noise and vibration levels, which are readily measured, and much work remains to understand the relationship between level and acceptability. In order to develop reasonable criteria for vibration due to fitness activity, it will be necessary to understand the level distribution of fitness events during typical operation. To this end, long term measurements have been performed at fitness facilities. The distribution of levels is analyzed and evaluated.", }
