Measurements were made in accordance with AASHTO T 360-16, Standard Method of Test for Measurement of Tire/Pavement Noise Using the On-Board Sound Intensity (OBSI) Method. A total of 20 pavement sections were tested, including fourteen (14) Chip Seal, four (4) dense-graded asphalt, a gap-graded asphalt, and a rubber chip pavement. This paper discusses the results of the measurements and compares the Caltrans District 9 pavements to other Chip Seal pavements previously measured throughout the US.", }
