With reference to structure-borne noise in the mid-high frequency range, a plate supported by vibration isolators is here investigated. Providing a reliable model of such complex structures is a challenging task since the different subcomponents might be characterized by totally different wavelengths, thus restricting both statistical and deterministic modelling approaches. To overcome these limitations and to include the effect of boundary conditions uncertainties, a hybrid deterministic/SEA approach is here employed where plates and isolators are statistically and deterministically modelled respectively. The forced response of the plate supported by vibration isolators is computed through the hybrid model and the influence of the isolators dynamics investigated. The predictions are validated comparing the results with those obtained through a full Finite Element model employed in a Monte Carlo simulation to account for uncertainties. Finally, the hybrid model is employed for assessing the influence of the number of isolators on the dynamic response of the plate.", }
