It also has several advantages over the other public transport, including not requiring wide land and can go directly to the center of the city. As a public transport, the most important aspect to be considered is passenger's comfort. This paper discussed the acoustic environment of executive class passenger train that perceived by the passenger. Noise level measurement is inadequate to explain the influence of environment around the listener to passenger perception. It requires an analysis of passenger perception of the situation on the train to create a comfortable environment using soundscape approach. In-situ measurement was used to identify noise sources and subjective evaluation in executive class passenger train of Bandung-Jakarta route to obtain passenger's perception. The data showed that dominant sound sources were passenger's conversation, bogie, buffers and chain coupler which affect sense of comfort without losing the sensation of being inside the passenger train.", }
