Celempungs are always played in ensemble with another bamboo instruments or ensemble with the instrument itself. It is important for the musicians in ensemble to hear oneself and hearing each other simultaneously for a particular musician layout performance like a line formation and u-shape formation. Typically, celempungs are played at outdoor stages but riser stages are recently adapted for the music performance. Hence, it is instructive to study further the stage acoustic parameters numerically for celempung music performance where the indoor, shoebox, and large space geometry are considered. Geometrical models were developed for two kinds of stage, namely front stage configuration and center stage one while the ray tracing method was employed to calculate the acoustic parameters, STearly and STlate. It is found that for the case of the front stage, the result shows that the parameters are closed to the recommended value of STearly and STlate, -13 dB to -11 dB. Meanwhile, the acoustic parameter of center stage is worst than that of the front stage type. Therefore, the center stage needs acoustic treatment for celempung music performances.", }
