It has the capacity for 88.083 people sitting and 100.800 people standing, making it one of the biggest stadium in Indonesia. Recent study shows that a multi-flutter echo appeared when an impulse sound was stimulated within then open space stadium. Flutter echo was a result of repeated sound reflections between a parallel wall with insufficient absorption. This phenomenon is considered disturbing and will affect audial comfort of the stadium and impair speech intelligibility as well. Another problem occurred in this stadium is a localized sound distribution. A stadium is considered as a good stadium if it has a good atmosphere between the player and supporter. This can be achieved by distributing cheering sound generated by the supporter equally to the tribune and the field.This study will analyze the appearance of multi-flutter echo and its connection with the elliptical geometry of the stadium. A simulation of the whole building will be created in CATT Acoustic and various strategies for prevention of flutter echo and generating a globalized sound will be presented based on simulation results.", }
