Thus it is expected to develop analysis method applicable on wide frequency range and on complex structure.On the other hand, Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) is an effective tool for the analysis of the high-frequency noise and vibration problems but it is mainly applied on shell structures. If SEA could be expanded applicable for analysis of complex solid structure, the method is powerful tool for analysis of tire.Therefore, aim of this research is to expand SEA for propagation analysis of complex high damping structure.In this paper, analytical and experimental SEA were used for the application examination of tire. First of all, equivalent stiffness of tread and side-wall is considered to expand SEA modeling techniques. Also the SEA modeling is performed to consider vibration characteristic of different tire types.Correlation between SPL and propagation characteristics are examined by ASEA.It suggests that Analytical SEA can be used to predict SPL of tire.", }
