Both acoustic and meteorological data from different measurement campaigns were used. Wind direction component in the receiver direction was found to be well correlated with the mean shooting noise exposure level. This correlation depends on measurement position since the directivity of firearms and the effect of firing sheds on the sound propagation. By combining these results with wind direction statistics, we derived the yearly mean noise exposure level distribution of one shot at one place.", }
